The weather has been beautiful (not so much today...but) for the past few days so we put the lasagna in the oven and went for a little hike Monday evening. The elk were up on the hill above our neighborhood so we hiked up for a closer look. Seeing deer and elk never gets old for me and there were at least 100 in this herd that we could see. Owen thinks they are cool too and usually says "hi" in a really high pitched voice-the same one he uses when he talks to his baby doll. What a great evening!
