Visitors

Nora was in town for a few days so we had some catch up time with her and Brandy. They made us a delicious dinner and a dream dessert the next night-thanks girls!

Pumpkins

Why not get pumpkins 3 times right? My parents bought an assortment on their way over to Missoula for Alice's arrival. Papa and Owen spent some serious time planning, carving and seed toasting.

We hit up another patch for some corns and small pumpkins too. And a photo op!

We woke up a morning last week to find that 6 of our 8 pumpkins, including 2 big carved ones, had been stolen! Who does that? We had some bummed kids and parents!

So, we headed put Friday evening, with colds/coughs/stuffy noses, to another patch. We are ready for carving...again.

1 week old

I can't believe it's been a week! Alice is as sweet as can be and a good eater and sleeper too! She gets snuggled daily by her big sibs who are adjusting very well.

Today was officially day 1 of being a mom of three...and I think I did a pretty good job. I let the kids sleep in, took a shower, got Owen and Clara to preschool in time (well a tiny bit late), took a walk with Alice, went to the grocery store, picked up the kids on time and got the kids out for a beautiful fall day bike ride/walk. Not bad huh? We will see how tomorrow goes!

Baby Alice Margaret

It's a girl!
On October 8th we were thrilled to meet our new baby girl Alice Margaret. Brett's grandmother was Margaret and we both love the name Alice (also Brett's great grandmothers name and my great aunts name). I was induced Monday morning and she made her appearance at 4:59pm. 8lbs 11ozs and 21inches...dark hair, great cheeks and a good eater!

Proud grandpas!

Best husband ever...I don't know how single moms get through this day on their own. Brett was a great support all day then he went home to get the kids to bed and brought back a Blizzard:)

Before leaving the hospital to go home.

Home in my cradle...great Nona and Great Grandma Helen had this cradle made for my parents when they had Maria.

Due Day

At my 40 week appointment yesterday we made an appointment to be induced on Monday! That is, if nothing happens before. It is nice to have a plan, but there are always things I think of that could be done. However, we are ready for baby and hopefully the sibs are too!
