The Wild Wild West

It was wild west dress up day at preschool today! I loved seeing all the little cowboys and girls when I dropped the kids off. They made trail mix this week and learned about roping, horses and bull riding.

Spring Fever

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Friday night "green dinner" at the Hubbards.


Owen set up his leprechaun trap that he made at preschool.


We had green pancakes for breakfast- I know... Not Irish soda bread but...


And we stood in the rain for the parade!








After the parade we went to lunch/watched a sad GU game and enjoyed a quiet afternoon at home.

Picnic Season...almost

Owen started last Saturday with a "Run for Luck".
Do you think I should get him some green for St. Patty's Day?

These shades from the Rybar Family came just in time for our 3 days of sunshine.  I think the kids had them on their faces for the majority of those 3 days too!  Thanks Rybars, they LOVE them.  Owen is very sure that his Hot Wheels glasses were chosen by Alek and Liam since they gave him their old Hot Wheels cars :)

Oh, and I forgot to mention Clara's birthday gift from us...turning her carseat around!  She is thrilled with her new view!

We took full advantage of the upper 50's weather and really did go on a picnic!

As I write this it is snowing outside, but the sunshine will come back soon I think.

Auntie's Weekend

Last weekend I flew to Seattle for a wonderful girls weekend with my mom, sisters, aunties and cousin. It's one of those things that has been talked about for years and we finally got it on the calendar. The time was spent catching up, eating, wine tasting and just having fun together. Thanks to Maria for hosting us all (and Eric for leaving :)!

Birthday Girls

Last Thursday we celebrated the shared birthday of Brynn and Clara. Clara wanted a snowman cake and Brynn wanted a polka dot cake so we combined their wishes and had a polka dot cake with snowmen on top!
