End of Summer Treats

If you are in Missoula and love ice cream... The Higgins DQ is having a back to school Blizzard sale! It is a real deal, in fact, too good of a deal to pass up on my first day of school!

I couldn't talk Owen into a blizzard-Papa has him hooked on dipped cones!


This week we also enjoyed Popsicles with the neighbors before bed time.

The evenings are cooling down and getting a little darker. The kids start preschool next week AND I am now 35 weeks and seeing the doctor weekly. It's starting to look like Fall!

7 years

Yesterday Brett and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary! Yeah Dom, we're getting old, but we are pretty happy with what those 7 years have held for us and are looking forward to the next 7!

My mom flew in Saturday evening and Sunday after church we all enjoyed a picnic at the park.








Grandma Sue's visit was perfectly timed for an anniversary babysitter!


She spent the evening with the kids while we enjoyed a nice dinner date...with a virgin mojito! Delicious and refreshing!

Auntie Ria and Uncle Eric

Last week Brett and Eric went on a bike trip to Fernie and Maria stayed with us! We hit up the spray park, the fair and the bike trails. It was wonderful having her help and the kids loved it too!

2-wheeler

Look at this champ!  Owen has been practicing on two wheels mostly on the grass, and with Maria and Eric in town he hit the sidewalk to show his stuff.  Way to go 4 year old!

Date Night

Last Friday Carole and Ron took the kids camping and Brett and I enjoyed a date! We went downtown for First Friday art walk and then out to dinner. It was a great evening...and the kids had a blast camping too.
