After all the wedding festivities last weekend, I decided to start prepping Owen for his role in the big event. According to him he is the "ring bear and the ring cow", but at least he knows that he is wearing a suit and not an animal costume! We watched a few you tube videos of ring bearers in action, and dressed up to practice carrying a pillow and walking slowly to Dad. I think he'll do great Dom & Lis! He was ready to go to the wedding as soon as he got his suit on...he's not the only one who is getting excited!

8 months
I just turned around and my little girl is 8 months old. She is crawling with determination, pulling herself up to standing (she is currently doing it on my legs), signing "more" and making happy and entertaining sounds. Today when I went to get her from her crib after her nap she was standing up, holding onto the railing waiting for me! She has the sweetest smiles, loves her brother and is quite a trooper.
We just love her!
Halloween
Clara and I we greeted at the airport by Brett and Fireman Sam (with his pumpkin full of candy)
We met up with Mya to hit up a few houses before bed

ALL the kids were excited about checking out the candy at the Hubbard's after Trick-or-Treating Brady & Clara both snuck a Kit-Kat
2 ladybugs, Fireman Sam & a chicken they sat frozen like this for minutes...much longer than we expected

While you were out...
Brett was gone most of last week for a class in Seattle. While he was in "school" and staying with Maria & Eric, I decided to do a little "while you were out" with our bedroom.
We have been wanting to repaint our bedroom and I figured I'd make decisions quicker under a time crunch. The day after he left, I bought supplies, cleaned and taped off the room. I painted the next day and decorated the next. Here are before and after pics...I am not 100% in love with the color choice, but it is growing on me. Besides, it looks fresh, new and clean and that is a welcome change!

Opening Day*
*DO NOT LOOK AT THIS POST IF YOU ARE AGAINST HUNTING AND/OR HAVE A SENSITIVE STOMACH!
Brett went hunting on Saturday and brought home dinner! Well, it is actually at his parent's, but will be great when its in the freezer ready for us to use. This is a cow elk just for those of you that may not know...as Owen says, "The elk doesn't have antlers, just big ears." I have been giving the Felton boys a hard time for unlucky seasons the past few years and often times ask why they have to spend so many weekends hunting. Why not just get something on opening day? Then the season isn't so long and time consuming. They are starting to figure it out:) Yay Brett!
