Fall 2015

It's fall! And in MT that means it's almost winter. Along with the start of school, we have been busy with fall activities. Clara started Irish Dance and played soccer, Owen played flag football and soccer, and Alice cheered them on through it all!

Brett and I managed a weekend getaway to Whitefish (thanks to Ron and Carole) for our 10 year anniversary. It was a beautiful fall weekend and we fit in a bike ride, delicious food, and a hike in Glacier.

Like I mentioned, winter is near...first snow was last Friday! The kids had the day off for conferences so they spent the morning in the inch or two making tiny snowmen.

Back to School 2015

O started second grade, little miss c kindergarten and A is back to preschool.

The kids are rehashing the first day of school with our neighbors in this pic...they are good buddies!

We celebrated the first full week of school with family bowling night.

And some mini golf a few days later...

Brett and I both got a hole in one on this hole so we are pretty much amazing golfers!

Little Miss is 5

This little beauty turned 5!

She chose to take a trip to the carousel wearing her new rainbow cowgirl boots that she wished for for her birthday.

Her birthday treat request...pumpkin pie in march!

She was also feeling brave that weekend and wanted to head up the chair for the first time! It was a beautiful day to be on the mountain. We watched Owen do a mini race and then the three of us headed up together for the longest run of all time! This memory was worth the burning legs...and a good reminder that lessons, from people other than mom and dad, are a good thing!

Spring 2015

We got to have both my sisters visit in May just after having Paul and Steph for Easter. We also had a Denver wedding in April that we attended sans kids! Papa and Susu came over to stay with the crew and all managed to have lots of fun and wear each other out!

Clara and Alice finished their year of preschool together with a very cute farm themed celebration. Clara is officially a kindergartener and ready to begin. She was hoping kindergarten round up was her first day!

Clara just finished up soccer (the yellow rhinos) and gymnastics, and Owen has his last baseball game this week.

Last weekend Owen and I flew over to longview for my cousins' and godson's confirmation. We also got to celebrate birthdays with my Dad and Maria!

My dad's birthday morning was spent helping Owen land his first sturgeon...I think it was a perfect start to both of their day!

January 2015

We returned from a memorable Christmas vacation to snow and have been enjoying it! We are hoping for more, but have been sledding and skiing when we can.

Owen started ski lessons on Saturdays and loves it! He is officially what I would call a "bomber" as he loves speed, tiny jumps and just being on the mountain.

I am taking a women's ski class on Friday afternoons, so I get to the mountain too. Super dad manages the preschool and school pickup and has dinner ready when I get home. (After having a beer with my group-which is included in the class)

We have each taken Clara up for a few hours here and there and she is catching on quickly! And...she loves it! She just said the other day " I hope we get more snow so I can go skiing on my birthday."

Alice started preschool with Clara's class this month and feels like a pretty big girl. This week she is the stat student and it's so very sweet to see her excitement!
