Early Christmas

We celebrated early Christmas with Feltons last weekend and are officially in the holiday spirit. I feel lucky that we often get to celebrate twice...that means two times the family gathering, Christmas dinner, Tom and jerrys, Christmas dresses and holiday cheer! Not to mention the excitement of the kids that is so fun to watch. There are more pics on the other camera that I will add later.

Sib Christmas

I took the kids shopping for each other yesterday and they were so excited that we let them celebrate early. They were both thrilled with their gifts!

Given the sickening events in CT yesterday, Brett and I thought an evening in, celebrating early Christmas sounded great. We are so blessed yet very saddened by imagining what others have gone through in the last 24 hours.

Swimming and Basketball

The kids finished up swimming lessons this week and next week Owen has his last day of basketball (stay tuned for a post, they are going to scrimmage) It is so fun to watch them try new things and learn.

Alice, the best baby ever, is 2 months today. She is sleeping 6-8 hours at night, smiling and cooing, and happily checking out her surroundings. We love her!

Growing up I remember our little kid friendly nativity so I found this great wooden puzzle nativity on etsy for the kids to enjoy. Clara also has our crystal in the mix and takes very good care of both baby Jesus statues.

Advent wreath made...


Our church has all the supplies to make one as a family, including the cedar rounds with candle holes!
