We spent last Thanksgiving weekend in Longview celebrating and catching up with family.

The list of what we are thankful for is too long for this blog... family, friends and health are the first that come to mind lately.  I realize that as we welcome the magic of the holidays... others are struggling to make it through.  We are so blessed.

Thanksgiving take 1

One of the great things about having family in MT and in WA is that we often get to celebrate holidays twice!  Sunday we had Felton Thanksgiving dinner and get to do it again next week with the Sari Family.    

Owen and Grandma Carole made this fun turkey appetizer...I think Clara kind of helped too, by sampling everything!

I love this...
This is how Clara always takes off her shoes. She tucks a sock in each one and sets them side by side. I think they do it that way at daycare and am liking the responsibility!

PDX visit

Last weekend we finally gave Dom and Lisa their wedding gift.  Whether they liked it or not, we went over to do a house project with them!  We were able to spend a short time in Longview and have lunch with Nona and Papa before heading to Portland for the rest of the weekend.  Our project: tiling the entry way.  We got right to work when we arrived on Friday and we were done by noon on Saturday.  The kids got to spend a super fun night in Longview with Grandma, Maria and Eric and joined us in Portland Saturday.  We all went to UPs last game of the season (but not last game because they made the playoffs) and had time for the park and a dance party before flying out on Sunday.
